how do i clear wp_cache

  • it cracks me up that i cannot find how to do this! i’m trying to get my favicon to show up and it says to clear it but does not say HOW!

    Access your server via FTP or SFTP and navigate to the /wp-content/ directory. Once there, delete the /cache/ directory.

    ok the only things in wp content are index.php, and two folders, plugins and themes. ???

    Then you don’t have any cache to clear. Not all browsers fetch new favicons. Some keep the first favicon that they found cached until you reset the browser.

    I have spam inside wp_cache table.

    Do you know how to stop this ?

    Someone add new post and the size of the table grow regularly.
