How do I change the URL to the blog of my website (not the structure)

    My basic blog URL is www.homepage.de/blog/

    Currently I use a redirection to point it to www.homepage.de/wissen/
    as I did not find a way to just change the basic articles “blog” URL anywhere. I know how to change Permalinks, but I’m fine with it. I only want to change the “blog” naming and I did not find it there.

    Any idea, how I can just change the “blog” to “wissen” without any redirection. I did not find, where the URL of the blog with “blog” is defined in WordPress.

  • Where is WordPress actually installed? www.homepage.de or www.homepage.de/blog/?

    Can you provide your real site address so we can take a look and better assist you?

    test.ixtract.de installation and homepage.

    But the blog URL is still test.ixtract.de/blog/ which gets redirected to test.ixtract.de/wissen/ at the moment

    The “blog” should just be the permalink/slug of the PAGE named Blog.

    Have you tried changing the permalink/slug of this individual Blog PAGE? You should find this Blog page among your list of PAGEs.

    Your’e right. I got confused about that. I changed the slug and had an active redirection at work. Thanx for your quick help!
