How do I change the text in my footer?

  • Hi I would like to change the “Proudly powered by WordPress | Theme: sela by WordPress.com. ” displayed on the footer: https://msbrotch.com/. I’ve read different thread about this. I don’t have any footer.php file. I’ve intalled a custom css plugin where the following doesn’t work.
    #site-info {
    display: none;
    }
    I’m using the Sela theme. Do I need to create a Child theme piece? If so where do I start? How to do it?
    Could you please help me out here?
