You don’t change the resolution of your website. It’s a responsive design, so it changes according to the resolution of the user’s screen.

I don’t see any problem. On my laptop both pages looked fine, and when I decreased the screen width the images automatically reduced to match it.

The 1080 x 1080 looked better because it matches the column width.

What happens if you upload an image bigger than that? Because WordPress should automatically create versions to fit that space for you.

You don’t actually have to resize all your images before uploading (unless you want to), it’s more important to optimise them for size and stick to the same ratio.

If I upload a picture bigger than 1080 x 1080 it stays the same size as the 1080 x 1080.

    Example: 3814 x 3814: https://www.cloudmuench.com/3814-x-3814-test-post/

I use a Mac laptop with a 4k screen so the responsive design might be reacting differently to the 4k screen.

Thank you for your help and time, I really appreciate it Jason
