How do I change the picture that shows up when sharing a link to my homepage?

  • I’m creating a new website for my company and I’m having an issue when sharing the link. Whenever I send somebody a link to the website, a random picture from whatever page i’m sharing will show up alongside the link. I would rather this picture be my logo, NOT a random picture on that page. Anybody know how to do this?

  • The Yoast SEO plugin you’re using uses the Featured Image assigned to every post/page for this purpose.

    @gappiah is it possible to change the “featured image” for each page to my logo? I don’t mind the featured image for my posts showing up but when i’m sharing the homepage or anything else that’s a little more generic it would be nice if it was just my logo. if so, do you know how?
