    For some reason my “about me” page got broken. So I simply created a new one, but now that page is at the bottom (being the most recent) but I’d rather it be at the top, or otherwise set aside from the other pages.

    How can I change the order so my new About Me page is at the top of the Pages list?

    Thanks.

    If you are using WP2 go to the “Edit Page” screen and on the right hand side down near the bottom is a menu item called “Page Order” Pages are by default given a value of Zero. So by giving all your pages a number 1,2,3,4,5 etc you can order them as you’d like.

    I tried that and it didn’t work, wah! What did do wrong? Do I need to number the subpages?

    That doesn’t work for me either; I tried numbering my pages from the start. It’s alphabetizing them instead, which is really annoying because what is the “page order” section for if not to set what order they go in?

    Presumably, your theme is using wp_list_pages.

    If you want it to use the sort order specified by Page Order, make sure you include
    sort_column=menu_order
    in the function’s parameters. See the link for more options and examples.

    I just fixed it. Thanks!
