    Hi!

Thank you for the nice plugin ??
I have a little issue though. I know that the plugin currently only supports English, German and Italian. However, I was wondering if there is a way for me to manually (by editing the code) to change the language of the plugin? I only need to change 2 words in the plugin: “Ingredients” and “Instructions”.

I really need an answer asap if possible, because I’d like to use the plugin on my food blog site, where I regularly share recipes. So I need to know if a translation is possible or if I need to find another solution.

Btw, if it is not possible, I’d like to help with a translation if you can make a quick update of the plugin? (Danish translation).

    Hi,

the easiest way will be to start a new translation. Download the program poedit for your operating system. Then take the file language/recipepress-reloaded.pot as a language catalog and start a new translation. Maybe you only start with the two words you need just now.

I’ll be happym to include the completed translation into a later release.

If you want to change the two words the quick and dirty way edit templates/rpr_default/recipe.php and change the headlines there. However these changes will be reset with each update of the plugin.

Thanks for the quick reply! ??

I can’t seem to find templates/rpr_default/recipe.php anywhere in WordPress? I only found one document called template, but it was something else.

(about the translation, I’ll try and see if I can get it done something so you can use it with future updates of the plugin)

That folder is inside the plugins folder. So look for wp-content/plugins/recipepress-reloaded/templates/rpr_default/recipe.php

I am looking at the plugin files through the wordpress admin panel, inside the plugins editor. Am I doing it right?

    I think I just found it ??

Never did that before. Actually the file you need is not listed there. I dont know how those files are chosen.

Please use a ftp programm to get access to all your files – your provider will know how to do that. Then edit wp-content/plugins/recipepress-reloaded/templates/rpr_default/recipe.php with a text editor of your choice.

Thanks, I just figured it out by accessing my FTP. I was confused first, because I thought you meant I had to edit it through the WordPress admin panel.

Thank you for the quick help! ??

I’ll let you know then I have the danish translation ready.
