  • Hi @vipfrance! There is now a setting for this on the settings page located at “Settings > Google Language Translator. Just use the color picker to change the font color.

    And let me know if that doesn’t work. You might have some type of CSS theme conflict, but it’s very easy to fix if so.

    Thanks for using the plugin!

    Hi Rob.
    Thanks for the quick response. I tried setting the Language switcher width and Language switcher background color in the Google Language Translator settings – it did not help. What else can I do?

    Hi @vipfrance, there is another setting called

    Language switcher text color:

    Did you set this one?

    It’s also possible that theme CSS could conflict with the plugin styles, just send a link to the website if you want, and I can find out.

    You can email me here: info at wp-studio . net

    Thanks! Rob

    Rob I already tried changing the settings of the Language switcher text color: and Language switcher background color in the Google Language Translator settings. Did not help. It is necessary to correct the CSS. Tell me how! My site- https://vip-france.ru
    Thank you!

    Hi @vipfrance, ok so I don’t currently see the language switcher on the website. Can you place it there so I can see the issue.

    I know you mentioned changing WIDTH and BACKGROUND, but there is another setting for TEXT COLOR. Did you change that setting too?

    Let me know I can help right at this moment.

    Thanks! Rob

    I changed the settings for WIDTH, BACKGROUND and TEXT COLOR did not help. From the right to the bottom, the \ “TRANSLATE \” button.

    Ok so you want to change the color of “Translate” on the orange button at bottom. Is this correct? I am sorry, I was confused because I thought you were referring to the language drop-down.

    Let me if the above is correct, and I will provide the CSS for you.

    Thanks! Rob

    When I click on the “TRANSLATE” button, I do not see the translation text. It merges with the background. How do I change the font color?

    I guess that I am not having the problem with the disappearing text, as you are.

    If you want, you can send a screenshot of the problem to this email, and I will try and solve for you.

    Sorry – everything is looking ok from my perspective!

    Thanks!

    Also, if you website is written in Russian, you might want to put a Russian flag at bottom of the website, so that users can get back to the original language.

    From my perspective, I cannot get to Russian language. That might be why I cannot see the text properly.

    Thanks!

    I added the Russian flag. I send screenshot of the screen.

    Ok checking now! Thank you for doing that!

    Ok now I see the problem. When the site is in Russian, the fonts are black, but after translation they turn light gray. Haha…I didn’t see this before because Russian flag was not there.

    Ok….can you turn off the copyright protection plugin? I cannot right-click on your site to inspect it. Then I can inspect the code and provide CSS to you.

    Thanks!

    I turned off the copyright protection plugin

    Ok I think this is all you need! Add this to the CSS overrides box on the settings page located at “Settings > Google Language Translator”:

    font {
      color: #000;
    }
