How do I change the directory structure?

  • How I can change the names at these directories ?wp-themes, wp-content, wp-includes? to put what I want. Tell me if you know, how to do this?? without to affect my website/blog.I want to change the names at these directories Thanks in advance.

  • I’m not even sure that is possible without breaking tons of WordPress core functions etc. But then again I have never needed to rename multiple core folder names.

    Out of curiosity why would you want to anyway? ??

    I will not change the name of directories tructure. Just I asked If I can change the names at these folders. I just wondered. Nothing more.

    Yes, you can change them, but you’ll also need to edit all of the core files that reference them, which is highly discouraged. Doing so will break the automated updater as well as several plugins and themes.
