Ok, this theme features a blog response template which has a little postage card looking thing and a submit button. While I like the postage card for submitting comments on the blog, I would also like to use it as a contact form.

It occurred to me from browsing the code that to accomplish my task, it may be as simple as changing the action of the submit button to send the comment via email form as opposed to post it as an actual comment. Obviously I don’t intend for the contact page to be a blog of any kind.

How might I do this or is it much more complicated than I think and I’m barking up the wrong tree?

    Thanks in advance!

  • You can create a simple plugin for contact from and customize it according to your comment form.

Can you elaborate on that? Not sure I understand what you are talking about.

My suggestion would be to install a plugin for the contact form, something like Contact Form 7 or Enhanced WP Contact Form and then use the styles of the original form to style the new Contact Form.

Don’t try and take the code for the comment form, it will probably be more hassle than it’s worth.
