    Hello!
I’m trying [desperately] to dramatically increase the height of my footer image in my child theme. Does anyone know the css to do this? I inserted a new footer image and it has somehow become much smaller than the original footer image – strange no?

    Please advise!
    Thank you ~ Kel

oh can i please ask one last question on this?

is the footer short [on the sides] because i made it short? or is it my code?
    how can i tell which?

Yep, the image is 994px – but the #page width is set to 1000px. You can probably change either one.

Yep, I couldn’t do any CSS work without Firebug :).

Yes, it’s really amazingly useful – there’s lots of good info on the Firebug website too, if you need it.

    You’re welcome too!
