    Hello,

Thanks for your message. We understand what you’re looking for, and there are two optimal solutions for customizing the text of the default “Book Now” button in the booking process.

The first solution is to create an override for the default Gettext language string defined by our plugin VikRentCar and installed on the WordPress language system. You can find several free third-party plugins that will let you create Gettext language overrides. An override for a Gettext language string basically consists in providing the original translation text, hence “Book Now”, and by providing an override text (your customized value), you will have the text automatically replaced by WordPress. However, please notice that this Gettext language override value will be applied to all pages of our plugin that use the definition “Book Now”.

The second solution consists in creating an override of the default PHP template file used by our plugin VikRentCar to generate the page of the booking process like in your screen shot. From the Configuration page of VikRentCar you can find the link to open the “Overrides Manager” tool. By choosing the proper name of the “View” (page) of our plugin, you can customize the whole HTML, PHP, JavaScript and CSS code of that exact page. In your case, the name of the View of your screen shot is “showprc”, and that’s the View you want to override through the native Overrides Manager tool of our plugin. Overrides are the best technique to apply customizations. This is because future updates will never touch your changes.

    We hope this helps!

    Hi,

We understand the situation, and if you are using the commercial version of the plugin then you can open a support ticket so that our technical assistance team can try to help you.

We also have an help article in the Knowledge Base section of our website, under “Customization Tips – Wording and Translation Overrides” that you may want to check to see the plugins we recommend using for changing a default text into a custom value. In any case, if you get in touch with our team through our website we will be able to share additional details.

    Thank you,
    The VikWP Team
