    Hi,

Have a site that really is not something anybody else can get something out of without being from the same country.. therefore I like to block all other countries – but how ?

have add my country code to the whitelist, but still I have friend from other countries that can still the site ?

what is the reason for that ?

    Thanks
    JAcob

    Hi nmasters,

Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t block anyone who visit the public facing pages but blocks only someone who attempts to hack the backend such as admin area.

In other words, this doesn’t restrict the contents by contry. If you want to do so, I recommend to use iQ Block Country.

    Thanks.

    Hi jacob,

The basic concept of this plugin is that “while anybody can recieve the services on the public facing pages, any malicious requests to the backend should be blocked”.

In order to achieve this, 2 strategies are adopted.
One is “Block by country” which will reduce the risk of infection. In this case, a malicious login attempt will be blocked immidiately.
And another is “Zero-day Exploit Prevention” which blocks any malicios access to the backend immidiately even posted from the permitted countries. But in this case, login attempts will be permitted several times.

If you have any more interests, please do not hasitate to ask them!
