How do I backup my content?

  • I have been backing up my CSS and PHP files…but does this backup my actual content too? If not, how do I backup the actual posts and other content so if something happens I don’t have to rewrite everything?

  • You need to backup your SQL database. You can do it manually if your server software has this option (like Cpanel).

    But the best solution is to download a bakup plugin, which can make backups automatically and send them to your e-mail. Search for ‘backup’ in the plugins catalogue.
