How do I Auto 410 bulk Post URLs if I delete them?

Hello,
We run a tech new site that has over 20,000 published posts. We wanted to get rid of some of the old content that isn’t driving traffic.
Instead of deleting them in bulk and redirecting them to homepage with 301, we wanted to use 410 instead.
How do we set that? Like now, when we delete a single post, that page is redirected to homepage with 301 automatically. But, how do we use that with 410?
Please help!
