How do I asign a group to a person who subscribes via the website?

    I’ve looked in the forum and the answer is alluding me. All new subscribers go to a group test. I want a new subscriber to go to a group ‘friends’. How do I do that?

  • Hi David,

    If you are using the shortcode, please use the shoercode as [email-subscribers namefield=”YES” desc=”” group=”friends”] and can change the group name where I have mentioned “friends”.

    If you are using the widget, you can select the group from the drop-down if you have at least one subscriber in the group “friends”. You can add one test subscriber from Email Subscribers -> Subscribers -> Add new subscriber with the group “friends” to be able to see it in the widget.
