How do I adjust Permalinks? Please help

If you use a custom permalink structure or any other option aside from the ‘default’ you’ll find that page names automatically become legible as your after.

The main use for the custom permalink structure is for the actual post section / blog and is how these permalinks are represented.

If you ever find that a permalink for a page isn’t quite what your after by default if you go into the page within edit mode below the title input box you’ll have an option to alter the auto generate url.

@esmi beat me to it, the blue arrow / custom structure is what needs updating, try ‘/%postname%/’ for just the most name without any reference to the month or category.
