How do I add tags to style.css file.

There’s a Tags section in the comments header of a style.css file. You can see an example here. Can you post the header of your style.css file? Put it in-between backtick marks.

This is what the header looked like before I tried adding a tags section.

I tried adding a line that said Tags: and then listing a bunch of things the theme could be tagged as like showed in that example, but when I saved it and zipped it and uploaded it, there was the same error message.

Thanks for that by the way I wasn’t sure if I was adding that line correctly, but I pretty much copied it exactly as in the example, and it still didn’t work.

Did you enclose the header in a comment /* This is a comment */:

So you’re uploading an entire theme zipped up? What happens if you just upload the unzipped theme folder into /wp-content/themes?

Yeah the header is enclosed in /*—————– This is the header ———-*/

Also you have to zip the file before you can upload it, there is no way to just upload the folder unzipped.

I think I am just going to try another site, a friend of mine said they had luck on that site with a similar template.

And so on…. Please help me, I bought this theme for $60 and I cannot use it ??

@marialorenm, what is the theme and where did you buy it? The theme developers should be able to help you. We don’t usually support these types of questions about commercial themes because it’s impossible to install them ourselves. Commercial themes should offer some kind of support, though.

My theme is Florence from Solo Pine. I have contacted them as well, but I thought I should inquire here too.

The support we could give with commercial themes is limited to CSS customisations and maybe JS. Not PHP.
