How do I add social media to the FOLLOW: sidebar

You can add social media in Theme options | Social links.

Thanks for this answer but it hasn’t resolved how to make these icons appear next to the FOLLOW: part of the sidebar.

I created a few icons in the section you mentioned, linking the icons to my YouTube Channel and Facebook Author Page, but I don’t see where to go from here to make these appear anywhere on the page.

Did you remember to hit “Save Changes” after filling out the social icon area? Did you remember to fill in the field labeled “Icon Name”?

Be sure you write the right name

For example fa-facebook for Facebook icon

Thanks! I had only tried one and couldn’t make it work. Everything suggested here was tried but when I tried doing another one it worked and I realized I had put an extra dash in the first one, which is why the first icon didn’t show.

I’m having a similar problems.

I can see my four icons Youtube / Twitter / Facebook / Apple, but I tried another one for SoundCloud and i can’t see anything. I can see the link is active, but no icon. I put the right fa-soundcloud id but it doesnt work. I tried another id, not working except for classic icons like Facebook or Twitter.

Please help: I would like to make sure that soundcloud icon will be visible. Thanks!

Could you delete browser cache?

Thanks for ur answer. I did refresh and delete the cache.. It s not working. I dont understand because other icons like facebook works, but when i change for soundcloud or vine for example i dont see the icon..

Are you on the latest version of Hueman? Are you on the latest version of Font Awesome? You can find out by connecting to your server via whatever file management application your host provides and opening the file hueman/fonts/font-awesome.min.css. SoundCloud wasn’t added until version 4.1.0, so if your version of Font Awesome is lower than that, the icon won’t appear.

Thanks for your help. I actually checked in filezilla and the version of font-awesome.min.css is 4.0.3.

I ve find out the latest version. Do i just need to replace this file? Or another one too.

I just did and nothing happened.. I still can’t see the soundcloud icon

What version of Hueman are you running? I have version 1.4.2 and the SoundCloud icon shows up for me.

I have hueman 2.1.3..
