How do I add items to a group

You can only add Random Content items to a group. You cannot add items from other post types.

Am I being really thick?
Your screen shot does not help – it show exactly what I stated – I can make a group, but see no way of adding anything to the group.

How do I add items to a group?
How do I make an item Random Content?

Go to Random Content > Add New in the WP admin. After you create the new random content item, you can add it to a group.

Too much hassle. I wanted a quick thing that would take a random thing from a defined group eg tag/Catogory
