How do I add automatic "Read more" link to post at the end of manual excerpts

I’ve been forced to create a new thread because I haven’t seen this resolved anywhere.

On my site, colinforreal.com, I will be using a manual excerpt on every story. However, I need to add a “read more” link to the end of my excerpts.

I have tried multiple plugins, but these plugins require me to use a limited use of characters and or words.

I need to keep my manual excerpt but I also need to add a “read more” link after the manual excerpt. Is this possible? And, if so, how?
