    Hi there,

I am using the Modern Clix theme on my blog: https://www.paulthurston.co.uk and I roughly know how it all works but I keep trying (and failing) to change the background colour to an image.

Does anyone have any ideas or have anyone done this before using this theme?

I appreciate any help you can give me.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Where? On the whole page? Or the sidebar? Or the post content area?

    Hi esmi,

I’m trying to add an image to the whole page (a bit like on twitter) so it sits in the background, i’ve managed to do it on my other blog https://www.dott50plus.com

I want to add an image not just change the colour.

    Thanks,

    Paul

well, looking at your css, for body, for the background, one is commented out, the other has ../ in it

Are you trying to navigate through directories?

Just drop the image in your images folder in your theme and get rid of the ../

Thanks for all your help with this – I had a play and managed to get it working.

I’ll update it in the near future.

Cheers RVoodoo – that solved it.

    Paul
