How do I access header.php?

  • I’m trying to access the file header.php so I can edit my page logo… the code for which is in header.php.

    I have no idea how to access it though. Can I do it in my dashboard, or do you edit these files and then upload them via ftp?

  • You can do it in the dashboard – in the left column buttons, pick appearance, and then edit – there you will see the theme files.

    If you have FTP set up and have a text editor it is easier in general to edit using the editor and FTP, but if its an infrequent thing, the Dashboard theme editor works just fine.
