I have added a comment form to the bottom of my post, and I am getting plenty of comments via email. In dashboard, they show up under “feedback” and not under “comments”, so my question is 2-fold:

    1) How do subscribers/viewers add a “comment” that can be seen on my page?

    OR

    2) How do I modify the “feedback” to categorize as “comments” instead?

    Here is my site https://www.howtoshine.net

Brand new blogger here, any help is much appreciated!

That’s a contact form, for sending emails to you, not a comment form, which is why they’re being saved as feedback.

To enable comments on that page/post, first edit the page/post, then look below the editor for a box labeled “Discussion.” In that box, you’ll find a checkbox to enable comments. If you *don’t* see a “Discussion” box below the editor, hit the Screen Options tab near the top-right and check “Discussion”. This will enable the “Discussion” box below the editor so you can enable or disable comments on the specific page/post.

Nevermind, I see the problem. ??

What you have there is a post, and comments are enabled on it, but folks have to click through to the posts’s page itself in order to see comments. Click the title, or this link specifically: https://howtoshine.net/?p=6

You’ll notice your contact form, then below it you’ll notice the comment form.

Also, notice at https://howtoshine.net/ below the date of the post there is a link for “Leave a comment.”
