How do change archives page on Twenty Fourteen theme to a 2 column grid?

  • Hello,

    I want to modify the category archives page for the Twenty Fourteen WordPress theme to be a 2 column grid. All the blog posts are of type “image”. What’s the easiest way of doing that and maintaining the the mobile responsiveness of the theme?

    I’m specifically using it on this blog: muchzen.com/picture-quotes/ (I’m okay with removing the sidebar to give the main content area more room so that it can have two columns),
