How Do a Clean Uninstall

    I disabled then deleted the plugin but it is still showing images being served by shortpixel – how do I uninstall the plugin? I assume it is a bit different than the uninstall instructions for shortpixel image optimizer.

    I’m just contributor here and have plan to disable plugin also. Did you try to delete your account at shortpixel? It might be because of CDN from your shortpixel account that you connected to your website.

    Hi @mchartley,

    If you disabled ShortPixel Adaptive Images and you still see references to cdn.shortpixel.ai, then it’s because:

    1) You need to clear your cache. Please do it in this order:
    – Cache plugins (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, SG Optimizer…)
    – Server cache (SiteGround, Bluehost…)
    – CDN cache (Cloudflare, StackPath…). Please do it from your CDN’s dashboard, not through your cache plugin or hosting dashboard.
    – Browser cache (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari…)

    2) Or you need to also disable Autoptimize’s image optimization, which uses our CDN too.

    That should do the trick.
