How delete IP from permanent ban?

    Hi,
    Could you help me to delete IPs from permanent ban? Unbaning and deleting records from Logs tab and from Blocklist on IP Banning tab doesn’t help. The records still have blocked status in wp_defender_lockout table. Only manual deleting these records from table fix it.

    Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

    This is not expected, if we remove the IP from a list it should be entirely removed from the database, so we did a deeper check on this situation and we tried to replicate it, we found the plugin is also adding the IP in temporary ban list which is causing some issues, could you please check if it is the case for you too?

    Navigate to Defender > IP Banning, check the temporary ban list and search for the IP, remove it from there and clear all caches.

    Hi,
    I have tried to unblock from temporary ban list. Status on Temporary IP Block List tab was changed, but IP is stil on the:
    * Blocklist on IP Banning tab
    * Logs tab
    * wp_defender_lockout table

    It won’t actually remove but update the stats to “Normal”

    Can you double check if this is getting updated?

    If not, do you have object caching on your hosting? if so kindly clear it to see if makes any difference.

    Hi Patrick,
    Thank you, your video-instruction works. In my steps i didn’t save changes after UNBLOCK IPS. I thought, when i press unblock button, the changes were saving.

    Is it possible to unblock IP in one step from one place?

    Is it possible to unblock IP in one step from one place?

    First section is permanent and another is for temporary lockouts

    So if IP is listed on both it is not possible to achieve it from the one place. Since the temporary one will be released after the period you have set but permanent one will stay.

    Only workaround could be the setting all protections as permanent if you like, then you will remove them from the top list only.
