How customizable is this plugin?

    For instance, if I wanted to retrieve data from some tables and display it, would I be able to add code into my functions files that would display it on the stats overview page?

    No, the overview page and other pages don’t allow for customization, you’d have to alter the files and that would break any time an upgrade would happen.
