How changed template files appear in the child directory

    Must files that are changed (from the parent) appear in the child in a directory structure that mirrors the file’s original location in the parent ?

    Jan Dembowski thank you for your reply and the info. If I understand your reply correctly, you describe an approach that preserves the ability to apply WP, parent theme, and plugins while permitting changes to be retained in the child theme independently (in the one child theme directory).
