How categories works?

    Hi there,

    I read the page on your website regarding how to set categories but I just want to make sure I got it right.

    If I have a category named “Lifestyle”

    When I write the article via email it comes as follows:

    category: Lifestyle
    tags: lifestyle, living, life experience

    :start

    full text of the article

    :end

    Is this a correct format?

    Sorry for the delay for some reason I didn’t get notified of your question.

    Categories are specified in the email subject line, not the email body. See https://postieplugin.com/faq/override-post-categories/

    :start and :end are not required they are only used for special cases.

    I would place the tag command at the end of the email to ensure there isn’t any odd spacing at the beginning or your post.
