how can you search a gallery?

    we are using a nextgen gallery, and have tried adding a NextGEN Search engine to it, but all the images appear as thumbnails and no content.

    Also tried NextGEN Gallery Search but none of my gallery content is searchable.

    My gallery items have a description and tags but do not show up on searches.
