I am trying to use the Full Width Template in the Hestia Pro theme. For reasons unknown the Hestia page title area does not appear whenever I use the Full Width Template even though I haven’t checked the box to hide the header area. I would like to edit the template file and save it in my child theme to add the Hestia Pro title area. How would I go about this? Or is there a better/easier way to accomplish this?

  • Hi,

Can you send me your site URL?

[ Use the link field next time ]

    Compare the page here:

    /our-history/

    To the page here:

    /stylists/

The Our History page is using the Default template while the Stylists page is using the Elmeentor Full Width template. See how the title bar at the top of Our History is not appearing on the Stylists page.

Try to follow this troubleshooting method that I made: (It’s quite general, but maybe it will tell us something.)

Please make sure that all of your Plug-ins and Theme are updated.
Sometimes it isn’t obvious that there is a plugin update available. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure.
After you checked that you are really updated to the latest versions, and the issue still occurring:
Please deactivate all your plugins besides Elementor and see if it helps. If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) and see if it makes any difference.
Please also regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard,
then make sure that you clear:
your WordPress cache (your WordPress plugin if you have one), your server cache (if you have one. In this case, you can contact your hosting provider).
Please Delete Elementor versions, then reinstall it.

    Back up your site first.

Sorry I was away for awhile over the holidays. I’m back now and able to resume working on this.

I updated all plugins and the theme.

I deactivated all plugins except Elementor and Jetpack and that had no impact.

I changed the theme to twenty-twenty-one and the title still did not display.

    I regenerated the CSS

I don’t have a cache plugin active right now but WP Super Cache is installed on the site. It is deactivated though. I don’t know if we have a server cache or not.

If I delete Elementor and reinstall it, will all the pages I’ve built using it have to be rebuilt? I’m sure that’s why you said to back up the site first, but I just wanted to ask this question before I do this last step.
