How Can We Delete Plugin Dashboard Voting Info?

    Hi there! (again)

    Hey, how can we disable or delete the “Thumbs Up” icon (vote) and the Rating Stars shown in WP’s dashboard? Better yet, can you kindly remove them at your next plugin revision?

    Removing noted info will make your plugin look more professional and consistent with all other well-known plugins. Looks very “tacky” at this point.

    Thank you for the five-star review and excellent feedback. As you can understand removing an element from the plugin is a big deal, so we looking into your request and will make appropriate adjustments as required.

    Update:

    We managed to remove the voting info and rating stars displayed in the Plugins section of WordPress. We also took the liberty to simplify the plugin name and description.

    To accomplish the above, we revised the plugin description and deleted affected lines of code located in the following file:

    /wp-content/plugins/wp-analytify/wp-analytify.php

    We realize this is only a temporary solution. The permanent solution is to update the plugin’s install PHP file.

    Display now looks great and agrees with the format used by many other “big name” plugin developers.
