I’m using the REST API Search to search on my website and it doesn’t log it on to this plugin. I’m searching using this url:

    example.com/wp-json/wp/posts?search=technology

But if I search using this url, it logs it to the plugin.

    example.com/posts?search=technology

How am I able to log the searches using the wp-json url using the REST API? Is this possible? Thanks.

    Hello @palekgram ,

    Thanks for the message.

There is another similar request posted here by another person who uses the plugin.

I kept delaying it in the hopes that I will have the v2 of the plugin out earlier this year but I just did not have time to finish it.

Now, that there is another request on this topic, I will do some work on it and release an update with support for the REST API Search.

I will get back to you with a message as soon as I have the update ready.

    Thanks!

    Cornel

    Hello @palekgram ,

The update I just released now tracks REST API searches. Just go in the plugin settings and, in the Add custom search parameters for recording the searches: field add the word search.

You will now see the results logged in the admin panel.

Let me know if you need more details.

    Thank you,
    Cornel
