How can subscribers subscribe my wordpress that I receive through my email?

    I have been received daily emails for subscriber’s email info through my wordpress, even though I have own website that has no sign up newsletter plugin. There have more than 1000 subscribers on subscription lists. I would like to know how they found the subscription. About one month ago, I installed newsletter subscription plugin on my website. It receives 9 subscribers in comparison of more than 1000 subscribers from wordpress. So I would like to how to prevent subscribers from my wordpress and use my website. Your response will be appreciated.

  • Are you also getting new users at Dashboard > Users? If so, delete the ones you do not want looking at your DashBoard and then uncheck “Anyone can register” at Dashboard > Settings > General. “Subscriber” is a WordPress User Role as well as being a term commonly used in reference to people on a list for merely receiving a newsletter.
