I am using the free version of Virtue theme. I need to add my pin descriptions in the back end the images I am inserting in my posts. Normally this can be done by adding a tag in the image code. How can i do that? I am unable to access the HTML code of the images after I insert them.

    Hey,
Are you just wanting to add alt text to your images? You can do this when you click to edit a photo from your media section in the WP Admin Panel. Or do you mean something different?

    Thanks for your reply, Hannah!
    Alt text wouldn’t help.
So in my previous theme, I used to have a txt tab on the images where i could edit the src code – example:
    img src=” abc . link” width=”683″ height=”1024″

I need to insert data-pin-description=”XXXX” in the image codes. This is needed to auto populate if someone pins an image from my post. I can’t find a way to do this now!

    Hi – Actually no ??
This didn’t solve for me. If someone saves an image as a pin from my post (for pinterest), the pin description is not loading. I thought the alt-text would load as the pin description. But it is!

Earlier in my previous theme, I used to edit the image code to add a data-pin-description = “xxx”. I cannot access the image HTML code here. Please help!
