How can I use my own icon for the accordion

    I have my own open/close icon added via CSS to match the client’s comps. I can not get rid of the triangle you guys use. Why the shadow DOM? Why remove that control from the user? Is there something easy I am missing to remove it?

    Hi there,

    The accordion is built using a feature that’s built into browsers. Instead of using JavaScript, there is a browser based solution for this. The browser is adding the triangle and looks a little different in each browser. I’m not sure if there’s a way to customize that yet.

    You might need to get fancy with some CSS that adds a little square over it to hide it.

    I’ll do some CSS covering. Thank you for the quick response. Please don’t add styling elements that handcuff users.
