How can I upload .zip files to WP

  • I would like to upload .zip files to my media library for download upon purchase(i am using woocommerce) but WP seems to not be allowing me to upload a .zip. Do I need to add a plugin or something?

    Please advise. Thanks.

    Plugins or themes that you purchase tend to work a bit differently from the themes and plugins made available at www.remarpro.com. Could you contact your vendors about the best way to tackle installation for their product?

    I am not trying to install a product. I am trying to upload .zip folders containing MP3/WAV files to my media library that I want to sell through a woo commerce install on WP and WP is not allowing me to upload .zip files to the media library. Why can’t I upload .zips and how can I change the settings to allow me to?
