We are using google web story plugin to make web stories for our website, but when category name is not reflecting on frontend url after adding category from the Backend web story for form.

So can somebody help us on this, we want to update category in the url.

    Example:

  • Hi @naveenbisht, thanks for getting in touch! Adding a category to a story does not have any impact on its front-end URL. All web story URLs are formatted as /web-stories/story-slug regardless of any categories or tags that have been assigned.

Let me know if you have any other questions about this.

@shetheliving thanks for the update, actually we want to use the category in the story slug, so is there is any other way to create the frontend url with the category like this /web-stories/category_name/story-slug/ ?

@naveenbisht Unfortunately this isn’t possible within the Web Stories plugin. Please do let me know if you have any further questions about the plugin or need any further help.
