how can i test whether blog is sending out pings?

  • hi. i have a feeling that my blog isn’t sending out pings to any of the update services. how can or test/troubleshoot this?
    i’m using a paid host with cPanel access

  • WP is standardly sending out the pings.. At least, that’s what I thought. But that doesn’t automatically make the searchengines index your website every time they get pinged. Just hang in there for a couple days, maybe weeks and Google will pick it up ;).

    thx for your reply. my blog has been going for a couple of weeks already, and i suspect it’s not sending out pings. but i’m not sure how to test it.
