  • When you create a Page called topic and a child Page of that called page1, you can get that address.

Perhaps those should not be Pages, but Posts instead.
Pages don’t have taxonomies, but you can use a plugin to add custom taxonomies.
You can use a plugin to create custom post types, which then have a different looking address.

Hi, Many thanks, I had forgotten about the child page. That solve my problem.

I have looked Plugin: Custom Post Type UI but it does not seem easy to use for pages. Do you know of a simple to use plugin?

What is it you are wanting for the plugin to do? I thought you said the child page would solve the problem.

    Hi,

You said “Pages don’t have taxonomies, but you can use a plugin to add custom taxonomies.”

Is there a Plugin for pages? I can only find for posts.

When you add custom taxonomies, you choose the post type it belongs to. Choose Page instead of Post or a custom post type.
But you don’t really need taxonomies if you are just using Pages to get the URL you want.
Or you can define a new custom post type that his hierarchical, so that Pages aren’t affected.
