how can i stop completely resizing of images without a plugin

    How can I completely stop the native image resizing of wordpress without a plugin. I have searched about this a lot. Everybody says that a solution of making 0 value of the media settings here (Admin–> Settings –> Media –> Media Settings). But after done this, “again two images are creating” in the uploads folder. How can I stop this also. I need only 1 image of my uploading image in the uploads folder. How can i achieve this.

    @shaijuelayidath – This is not specifically related to NextGEN Gallery as we do not use the WordPress Media Library for our image storage.

    If you have set all of your media sizes to zero, then you may still need to look at other active plugins and/or your current theme to insure they are not still generating image sizes regardless of that media setting.
