How can I sort users?

  • Is it possible to sort users? It would be helpful to be able to sort them by user name, e-mail address and ID number.

    I have just upgraded to the newest version of WordPress and the user list is worse than ever. Before It was sorted alphabetically by user name in two groups of A-Z. Now every single page has its own group of A-Z.

    I frequently need to look up people by user name and e-mail address, and it will be virtually impossible to find anyone now.

  • If I remember right, it pulls this info directly from the SELECT query allowing the DB to do the work of sorting everything (Thats how I’d do it as well). I can’t get to that query at the moment, but if you dig enough, you’ll find it.
