how can i show catagorys on my page is it possible

you are asking really basic questions all of which are answered in the install and faq’s

but i only want it to show me some catagory not all

shortcode:
[wppizza category=’your-category-slug’]

when i put this it shows me items in this catagory i only want to link it (like dinner menu is catagory name i want it show catagory name so when visitor click on it they will see itmes )

if you are using pages to display categories (i.e you are putting the above shortcode on a page), then just link to that page as you would link to any other page….

if you are using templates (i.e option 2 in install – which i don’t think you are using but I am just saying this here for completeness sake) use the wppizza widget->navigation…

link to whatever. it’s just a link to a page the wordpress way.

essentially, you have a page with the menu items of a certain category
(i.e a page with the shortcode [wppizza category=’your-category-slug’] on it)

somewhere else , you want to link to that page . So , just link to that page…..

i linked it to slug but its not showing me any items
