How Can I Set Bulk Optimize For Admins Only?

    I use User Roll Editor to set permissions. If I give any user the ability to upload images (such as a contributor, author, or editor) they can also bulk optimize all images. It’s the only permission I’ve added beyond the default wordpress settings.

    How can I set it up so that only admins can bulk optimize images?

    On the plugin page of User Roll Editor I noticed the “Block selected admin menu items for role.” option for their pro version. I found more information on https://www.role-editor.com/block-wordpress-admin-menu-items/
    I’m guessing that is what you need. For further information, you would have to contact the creators of the User Roll Editor plugin.
