    Hi,

I’ve just started trying out the new blocks.

Two blocks, each have a background color/image and I can have several text styles in it, like larger text for one line and smaller text for another line. And there’s a button that gives people access to the members area.

I’ve been playing around with the blocks, but so far I’m a bit at a loss.
The paragraph block gives the option to use a background color, but you can NOT change the text sizes for separate lines. One change goes for all the text in that paragraph. Additionally I can’t add a button or anything else for that matter in the paragraph block.

The only way I saw in which two blocks with different sized text would be possibile, is the Classic editor block, but there seems to be no option for a background color. Nor can I create a button. Instead I’ll have to upload an image file. Adding that image file didn’t quite work out, since apparently wordpress didn’t quite understand it. But that’s something for another topic.

I’ve checked the Cover image, but that’s really an image with an overlay and has no option to adjust the text size and such.

In the Classic Editor I can’t add a button block which I do need……

So…. How can I make this possible?

BTW, if this is supposed to be in another forum, please move it. ??

This is more a template or page issue then a block issue. The theme would determine the overall layout of a page. In this case you have 2 div that are floated so they appear side-by side. One being your view membership page and the other your. Each of the div can contain different blocks like titles paragraphs or forms.

You could look for another theme that has this format or create a template that can be assigned to a page to produce this effect. Also you might want to look at some of the page builders they might help you create the overall layout.

The blocks are only going to help you layout elements within your content area. They are not going to help you with the page layout.

Thanks for the suggestion! For now I’ve solved it by creating tables in a table in the classic editor. Not ideal, but it does the trick ??
