How can I retrieve all my lost post? HELP!!!

  • Oh my! I just lost all my post!!! Please help me how I can retrive it.

    This is what happened:

    I was changing a photo and it cant save. This happened twice. So, I went back to my dashboard and lo! all my post are zero!! No post!

    I only have 26 post there so I am willing to reconstruct. However, when I attempted to add post, it says error: you are not authorized to edit.

    When this was happening, i thought of updating my wp so now it is in 3.2.1 and I also tried changing my theme..but still zero post.

    I went to my plugin back up and downloaded the back up file and when downloaded, it was in uni-code so I dont understand a thing.

    I am not techie and I dont know what to do.
    Please anyone help me.I am already on page 3 in google and I cant afford to lose that slot.

    Would really appreciate your help!!! Hope you can teach me step by step.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    – resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

    Hi Esmi,

    Can I have your email ? Or, can we chat in fb? I would appreciate if you can teach me step by step–as in idiot proof…that is, if its okay with you. I am scared to touch anything because it might get worse.
