How can I restore media library contents after domain move?

  • I have the same problem described here:

    I moved two WordPress sites to a multisite environment, and after restoring themes, plugins, widgets and all the configurations that WordPress is not actually exporting, I found that the media library is empty. I have uploaded the pics via FTP, because if I use the WP uploader, they will land in different folder from what the actual posts are retrieving them.

    So, Is there any way to repopulate the media library with the current images in the upload folder?

  • I’m also having the same problem. I know the pictures are definately there, but workpress just isn’t recognising them.
