    How can I remove the text “Powered By: WordPress | Theme: “Merlin Magazine WordPress theme with a responsive layout” from the footer?

  • Hello kksmiles,
    Follow the steps below and the footer text will be removed.
    1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Editor > Select theme to edit> Merlin Select it
    2. Select template-tags.php
    3. Inside Editor area, Go to bottom of the page and change following line.
    4. Replace add_action by remove_action
    5. Click Update File
