How can I remove the About Author section from my posts?

I would like to perform the changes for every post I do since the default author box only shows up for posts.

I ended up deleting the code for author-intro.php, this removed the author box and seems to be fine now.

By deleting that code entirely, did I remove something important?

Hi,

You need not to delete the entire code to remove the author box.

You just create a “Child-Theme” first.

After it create a “single.php” file into your “Child-Theme” directory.

Now copy the code from this LINK and paste into “single.php” file of

your “Child-Theme” directory.

Now save all the changes.
